Welcome to the Family and Developmental Psychopathology Lab!

The overarching theme of our research is that families are systems and family members have a variety of effects on one another.

We currently have two areas of interest falling under this umbrella: The first is on the family (including parental) factors associated with child Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The second is on interventions with very young children (aged zero to six).

We are also interested in other family characteristics that impact young children’s development, well-being, and formation of secure attachment relationships.

We often use systematic reviews (meta-analysis) to help us answer these questions and clarify the effects and relationships between these factors, as well as to identify moderators of the examined relationships.
